Ronald Ringer Obituary

Lakeland, Fl

Ronnie passed away peacefully on April 4, 2021 from complications due to heart surgery.

Ronnie was born June 27, 1946 in Leominster, MA, son of Freeland O. Ringer and Evelyn (Caisse) Ringer. He graduated from Leominster High School, Class of 1965.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa (Asbury) Ringer; children Erin Howard and her husband Seth of Templeton, MA, Kayleigh Marazzito and her husband Jason of College Station,TX and Shane Faulkenham of Lakeland, FL; and his sisters Ruth LaLancette, Barbara Thomas and Janet Cross. He is also survived by his four grandchildren; Cole, Gianna, Liam and Maverick, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother, Freeland (Sonny) Ringer.

Ronnie was a Machinist by trade, working for various manufacturing companies throughout his life; including his own company, Ringer Tool and Die. His biggest passions were playing softball, and coaching sports. He was a great pitcher and a home-run hitter! He was an advocate for female athletics; heading up girl's Central Mass Basketball, lobbying for Recreational Fastpitch Softball in Leominster and coaching for Fire Girl's Fastpitch of TAP. Ronnie was always willing to help others, and always went above and beyond what he was asked to do. His hard work ethic was noticed by all.

There are no arrangements at this time. Plans for a Celebration of Life will be at a later date.

Sincere condolences to the entire Ringer family. As a kid growing up Ronnie was a person I always looked up to. He was big, strong and seemed indestructible! His smile and personality were every bit as big as the man he was. He will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched. Our thoughts and prayers to Ronnie's family. Rest in peace my friend.

It seems impossible that Ronnie has passed. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met.
He certainly inherited the athletic ability of his Caisse Grandfather (and brothers) when it came to baseball. May his name always be for a blessing
