FITCHBURG -- Rose M. Bisol, passed away Friday, January 13th, at Health Alliance Hospital in Leominster.
Rose was born on May 29, 1929 in Leominster, a daughter of the late Giovanni and Angela (Baggio) Bisol of Bassano di Grappa, Italy.
She graduated from the Saxton Trade School and was employed at the Arrow Co. formerly Cluett and Peabody, a very fond time in her life, as well as Decatone, Weyerhauser and finally retiring from the Digital Corporation.
Rose is survived by her sister, Theresa DiPasquale, and very special nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is predeceased by her brothers, Gaetano and Angelo, her sisters, Sister Joanne, Sister Mary Louise, Sister Angela, Claire and Lucia.
BISOL -- A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 84 Salem St., Fitchburg, at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 21st. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 9:00 - 10:30 at the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a mission of your choice or St. Anthony Church, 84 Salem St., Fitchburg, MA. 01420.

We were sadden to learn of the passing of this wonderful lady. She was so helpful when our own mother, Geraldine Bisol, passed away in 2010. Her joy of life, friendliness, and willingness to help others brought comfort and joy to many. And while we didn't see her often, each time we met it was as if we had never been apart. We take comfort in knowing that this world was a better place with Rosie in it. She will be missed.
