Sandra Lepine Obituary

Nashua, NH

On the peaceful morning of November 7, 2023, suddenly and unexpectedly, we said goodbye to our beloved Sandra Lepine, a vibrant soul full of life and joy. Born to Gerard and Ann Croteau on January 19, 1958, in Fitchburg, MA, Sandra lived a life of service, dedication, and love, leaving an indelible mark on those she encountered. She was a beacon of strength, a source of wisdom, and a wellspring of love, whose spirit will continue to inspire and guide us.

Sandy's life was a testament to her commitment to caring for others. As a Registered Nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital, she cared for countless patients with unwavering dedication and compassion until her retirement in 2021.

She was a devoted New England Patriots fan, holding season tickets for over three decades, her enthusiasm and loyalty as constant as the Northern Star. Sandy's love for travel with her husband Tom, took her to numerous places, each journey enriching her spirit and widening her perspective. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as playing cribbage, walking her dogs, hiking with her close friends, and enjoying nature's beauty which she found in her own back yard!

Sandy was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, and friend. Family was everything to Sandy, and she had a special relationship with each member of her family! She is survived by the love of her life, her husband, Thomas Lepine, whom she married on May 14, 2022, and her mother, Ann Croteau. Sandy was predeceased by her father, Gerard Croteau.

She leaves three step-children, Joseph Lepine, Shari Lepine, and Tricia Moore. She also leaves behind her siblings, Kathryn (James) Phaneuf, Richard (Roxanne) Croteau, Patricia (Paul) Graham, and Thomas (Suzanne) Croteau. Sandy also leaves behind Vicki Sova, who she considered another sister. Sandy's memory will continue to live on in her nephews – Matthew, John, Michael, Thomas, Daniel, Owen, Connor, Marcos, and Nes and her nieces --Jacqueline, Nicole, Sarah, Anelie, Ella Bea, and Trina and her eleven great nieces and nephews whom she adored. There are others, too many to mention, that benefited from Sandy's love, warm spirit and guidance.

As we remember Sandy, we are reminded of the verse from the book of Proverbs (31:25-26), "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue." These words capture the essence of Sandy – a woman of strength, grace, and wisdom.

My thoughts have been filled with Sandra. She loved life and lived it well. Her smile lit up a room. She was warm, compassionate, and an advocate for family and friends. I have fond memories of her growing up. I enjoyed her posted pictures that she shared through Facebook and marveled at the variety of things she did and the places she visited. She will missed but my memories bring a smile to my face and warmth in my heart.
