Steven Hoffman Obituary
SUDBURY, MA -- Steven A. Hoffman, MD, of Marlborough, MA, beloved husband, father and psychiatrist, passed away November 14, 2011. Born in St. Louis, MO., Dr Hoffman graduated from Washington University and New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Harvard University and practiced for many years in the greater Boston area. He is survived by his wife Kathleen, his son Michael, and his mother, Shirley Hoffman, of St. Louis MO.
HOFFMAN -- Funeral services will be held at the Duckett-J.S. Waterman Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Rd., (Rt. 20), Sudbury, Thursday, November 17, at 10:30 AM followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Marlborough, Ma. In Lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Marlboro, 169 Pleasant St., Marlboro, MA 01752. 111.bgmetrowest.org. Dear Kathy and Michael. I am so deeply saddened by the enormous loss of your husband and father. Dr. Hoffman was more than a "doctor" to his patients. He was a mentor, friend, great listener,always caring and kind, His skills over the years helped many who were suffering, no matter what their problem was. I will always remember him and be thankful that I had the opportunity to know him and will miss him greatly. May he rest in peace.

Kathy and Michael: I am sorry to hear of Steve's death. Steve and I last spoke about a year ago and his illness seemed grave. He was patient and kind in dealing with mentally ill clients whom I represented. May God be good to him. Dave Culliton
