longtime Fitchburg resident; 87
FITCHBURG Theresa L. (St. Jean) Casey, 87, of Fitchburg, died Monday, November 23, 2009 at The Highlands, Fitchburg.
She was the wife of Edmond Casey who died in October 1982.
Mrs. Casey was born in Fitchburg, March 15, 1922, a daughter of Delphis and Agnes A. (Tremblay) St. Jean and resided much of her life in Fitchburg. She attended St. Joseph School, Fitchburg.
For 10 years she worked at the General Fiber Company in Fitchburg.
She is survived by two sons, Thomas Casey Hopkins of Westminster, William J. Casey of Leominster, two daughters, Patricia A. Willette, Cynthia M. Healy of both of Wilton NH. She also leaves eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Raymond St. Jean of Florida, Florence G. Landry and Rita R. Bilodeau both of Fitchburg and Delphis "Joe" St. Jean of Gardner.
Mrs. Casey attended St. Joseph's Church and St. Camillus de Lellis Church both in Fitchburg. She was a member of the Retired Women's Club and the Fitchburg Booster Club.
CASEY A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 Wednesday, November 25th at St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours are 6-8 Tuesday, November 24th at the Louis M. Isabelle Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg. Please see www.isabellefuneral.com for additional information.
