Robert Baldwin Watt; 82, WWII Navy veteranFuneral services for Robert Baldwin Watt, 82, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. He died Friday, Jan. 2, 2008, at his residence.He was born Oct. 6, 1926, in Jeffersonville to the late Byron and Nellie Spangler Watt. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He worked as superintendent of the rug department for Spaulding Cleaners in Louisville. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council 1348, and The American Legion Post 35.Survivors include his wife, Joyce Watt, Jeffersonville; daughter, Sheila Patterson and husband, Bill, Jeffersonville; son, William R. Watt, Gautier, Miss.; and five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.
