Johnson, Eldorado Noreen Flint Age 79, died June 20, 2018. Funeral services will be held 12PM Wednesday June 27 at More Life Tabernacle 6430 Lennon Rd. Swartz Creek. Interment at Sunset Hills. Visitation will be held 1-8PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Eldorado N. Johnson was born November 18, 1938 in Ingram Branch, West Virginia to parents Mr. & Mrs. Reginald Burnell Conliffe. Eldorado was baptized at the age of 14 at Montgomery Baptist Church WV. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Mt. Morris. Better known as El she graduated from Montgomery High School after attending Simmons High until her junior year, at which time the schools were integrated. Eldorado was named by her grandfather when she was born, because of her golden blond hair and skin he called her Eldorado Gold. Eldorado married Chasteen Johnson Jr., and had six children. They migrated to Michigan in 1963, where she later became employed at Chevrolet (in the hole), then transferred to AC Spark Plug, where she retired in 1999. She leaves to cherish six children, Kathi (Lincoln) Scruggs of Clio. Cynthia Baskin of KY., Wanda Overton, Natalie Johnson, Cassandra, (Terry Green) Johnson, and Craig Johnson of Flint; sisters, Laugrita Tucker of Detroit, Lavern (Rudy) Logan of WV.; brothers, William (Linda) Conliffe of Flint, John (Annie) Conliffe of Detroit, Rodney (Annie) Conliffe of FL., Antwand Conliffe of FL.; sister-in-laws, Carolyn Conliffe of WV., Nadine Johnson, Yvonne Kirby of Ohio. Ruth (Harrison) Guy of Mt. Morris; brother-in-law, Luther Farmer of NC. She leaves to cherish 14 grandchildren, Lamont, Jamarr, (Taleisha), Shana Riley, Lincoln Scruggs Jr. Sheron (Kevin) Weems, Laura (Joshua) Bell, LeAndrea (Brandon) Eggelston, Armond (Molly) Baskin, Nia Manning, Lauren Blassingame, Myles, Mariah, Morgan Overton, Justice Green; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; A host of nieces and nephews which includes three nieces that she helped to raise Starletta, Ericka, and Natasha. She had to many cousins to count, some of which were like sisters and brothers. Dear friends, Coweta Smith and Kathy Williams. Eldorado loved her family and her friends, and she had a special relationship with each one. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chasteen Johnson Jr.; parents, Reginald & Burnell Conliffe; grandson, Anthony (Lil Rick) Baskin; granddaughter, Serena Scruggs; brothers, Donnelly, Townsend, Reginald, and Thomas Conliffe; sisters, Cassandra Farmer, Arvonia (Vonnie) Diggs.
