I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Beckett's passing. I have fond memories of the house on the corner in Hempstead with the big yard. I remember Mr. Beckett's huge vegetable garden and him squirting all the neighborhood kids with the hose in the summer time. Rest in Peace.

I believe I speak for everyone in our Hempstead High Class of 1957 that one of the finest human beings ever on earth will be missed. His humor and energy are unsurpassed. Bless you Mr. Beckett. I am so glad I got to visit with you at your home a few years ago and meet Madeline. I will treasure your memory always.
