David,
I thank you for your unconditional friendship over the last 20 years. I will miss our marathon talks that went on into the early morning hours. Even though we didn't see each other often, we always made up for lost time when we did meet. Some of my fondest memories in life were with you David. I will be playing Whitesnake in your honor on my way down on Saturday. I love and miss you, Dave.

David was the most amazing and caring person that I have ever met. He was like a brother to many of us and losing him has just made our world a little darker. I am honored to have had the privilege of being one of his friends.

David you're someone I'll always feel blessed to have known. Your love for your family was evident in many ways. Hannah will always know her special angel is her daddy watching over her. God may not have chosen this time for you to come to Him, but He'll be happy you're in his presence.

Harriett, Brian and Family, Wow, 28 years. There really are no words to describe what David and I had as friends over the years. David is truly my little brother. His unselfish nature made me a better person and the world a better place. I pray that we all find comfort when we remember him. The things that David was passionate about are the things that will keep his spirit alive and forever with us. Forever remembering David...Johnny Bush

I truly thank you for your friendship over the last 20 plus years. You are and always will be one of my brothers. We are very sorry to hear of the passing of David. We met briefly as children and enjoyed vacations together in PA. It is clear that David enriched the lives of all those he met. My regret is that I didn't get to know him better. May the pain and sorrow that those who loved him be tempered by the knowledge that he is always with you.

I used to work with David at Cape Canaveral Hospital. He was a great person to work with. I'm very fortunate to have met him, laugh, and joke with him. I only wish we could've gotten closer as friends, but still I miss him. God bless you David.

It saddens me greatly to just now find out about David's passing. Having been teammates in Track & Field with him at Montverde Academy for only a few short years he truly had a impact on my life as well as many others.
The best words I can think of to describe David as I knew him would be "Kind & True".
When I first met David I had no idea he had any vision problems at all and was completely blown away when I found out, as he never let on or made it an issue in any way.
His work ethic on and off the field was second to none. I recall many times heading out to the track to practice high jumping after school or in the early evening thinking it was going to just be me out there, and every time there he was :)
I t did not take us long to become friends and begin motivating each other..Although he seem to motivate me more than I did him.
One day we were joking around on the field and said to each other that the next track meet we would "Jump High & Well". Even though we were just kidding around it quickly became something we said before every competition to each other. So much so that I had it carved into my second place medal at the same state championship he won in:)
My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family - I have no doubt he has now jumped higher and better than we ever dreamed of.

I am sorry for your grief. Please know that Jehovah knows what you are going through. That is why he has offered the hope of a resurrection (John 5: 28, 29; Psalm 37:10, 11).

I just found out this past weekend that David had passed away. I am shocked, saddened, and a bit regretful that I did not keep in closer contact with David throughout the years. David and I met at Florida Lions Camp back in the early 1990's when I was a counselor along side David. That friendship grew as I moved to Gainesville to go to college, where I met Brian. David was so welcoming to whoever he met. Instantly after meeting David for the first time, he welcomed me like family. I will never forget him, and will always keep him in my prayers.
