David Hannemann Obituary

David Joseph Hannemann

Viera, FL

David Joseph Hannemann, 56, of Viera, died, Tuesday, June 17, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Therese Hannemann. He is survived by his father, Walter Andrew Hannemann; his sisters, Diane Nardone and Susan Boutin (Rick); his brothers, Steve (Patrice) and Michael (Debbie) Hannemann; his nephews and nieces, Michael Nardone (Hasty), Chrissy Boutin Francis (Bert), Stephen Hannemann, Ricky Boutin (Becca),

Michelle Hannemann, Sean Hannemann,

Michael Hannemann, and Kelly Hannemann, and his three great-nephews and niece, Alex Francis, Colin Boutin, and Aubrey Francis.

A Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, Dave described himself as "Bad to the Bone". However that description was the farthest from the truth. Dave was never without a smile on his face and was always ready to help anyone who needed it. He had a great sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. Dave's family and friends were very important to him. Many of his grade school friends continue to be his friends today. Dave will be missed by all, but those left behind realize that he is in a better place traveling like a 'Freebird' on Heaven's highways.

A Mass followed by a celebration of life will be held, Tuesday, June 24 at 10:30 am at The Church of Our Saviour, Cocoa Beach. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Dave's name to coastalpoodlerescue.org.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dave was my best friend. We worked together in Paradise Island, Bahamas. Then again in Casa Grand, Az. Then moved in and worked with me in Colorado. I got out of Construction and became truck driver and let Dave know. He did same and we were able to meet and go to many Nascar races and other things. We talked daily and TRULY GOING TO MISS OUR GREAT TIMES TOGETHER. LOVE YOU DAVE R.I.P.

I didn't have the pleasure of meeting you. Patrice and Steve kept me informed on your condition. Susan shared you with us. May you be at peace with no suffering. I am certain you are an Angel in Heaven. The family left behind will keep you alive through memories and love. Amen.

I worked with Dave for several years at Sea Ray.I enjoyed working with him, we managed to have fun in a not so fun job. I regret not getting together when we talked on Facebook awhile back.I will miss him and so many of the old crew will miss him too. I hope they have Harley's in heaven, up there you won't need a helmet. My condolences to his family, may you find peace knowing he's in a better place.

Dave was one of the kindest, sweetest and gentle people I have ever known, and it was an honor and pleasure to be his friend. He spoke so often of his love of his family, and I know he will be so missed by all of us. With love, Sandy
