Dev-the tears won't and haven't stopped falling since I heard that I will no longer have your laugh, your silliness, and your voice on the other end of phone whenever we needed eachother. I add this candle for you, as we quickly connected and became friends-the lifelong kind-the friendship that many were jealous of...."haters gonna hate" lol.
You were one of a kind in so many amazing ways my friend and will forever be in my heart. All of the memories...laughs, cries, adventures and yes, arguments that we had. You will forever be in my heart my friend There isn't a day that goes by that I don't yearn for justice to be served to whoever took you far too soon from all who truly loved you. My Dearest Devi, I love you so very much, I am so very thankful to have had you as my sister. I will forever cherish all of the memories of our time together here in this place. My heart aches and is truly broken. I hope that with time I will not focus on how you were taken from us, but how you lived your life, and Live you did!!! You were taken from us to young and to soon. I can't make sense of your being taken from us...because it just doesn't. I will miss so many many things about you, way to many to list here. I can still hear the sound of your laughter, I can still see your beautiful smile, and yes time and distance never mattered and never will. Because I will always carry you with me baby girl. Devan was a great soul. We were co- workers at Casa Del Sol. But more than that, we were good friends. Best memories of her include hula hoop contests on the deck many sunny days in a row. I will always cherish coming to know her. she was good people.

Devan was an amazing person.I only knew her for a short time while we were both working at the Salmon bake but she was amazing and kind and I will always remember her for that. She always took the time to chat with me and she always made me laugh. She will be very missed.

It's sad news to hear that she's gone! This earth just couldn't contain her awesomeness, so were lucky enough to have her watching after each us! I met dev in Denali in 2010, from the start I knew this girl was incredible. Always smiling, telling jokes, a wild heart,always daring with a free spirit, and a heart of gold. She never passed judgement w me, and even though we werent close the past few years I knew I could count on her, if i ever called upon her. Her mom raised a tough cookie, and should be proud of how Dev touched the lives of many! Thank you Dev for the memories!!! I love you!

I miss you. The way you light up a room your hugs and even if it was just bumping into each other by chance the way you'd stop and have a genuine how are you type talk! I'm so glad I got to see you at darwins before you left state. I might not have let that hug end if I knew it would've been the last though.

Devan was a sweet person. I came to know her when i was a customer at Casa Del Sol in Girdwood. She was often not very serious about the job, but it was always a pleasure to get my beers and food from her and exchange a few silly comments, back and forth. She brightened many people's days, there, and elsewhere. Devan was well appreciated in Girdwood, and unfortunately many people will be sad to discover her passing...but that's only because she was a spark of smiles and lightness for so many. She had told me she was battling an illness...still, she seemed so vibrant and that's how I will always remember her. A smiling light.

I didn't loos a friend as much as I lost a partner in crime for the rest of my life. you meant so much to everyone who knew you and we will all miss you incredibly. We where not prepared for your loss but you made us all stronger for knowing you and I guess in your own way you made us strong enough to deal with anything & everything just knowing you. you will be missed and we will never forget you. I will always remember with a smile when you dropped the lotion on my face when I took you to the hospital & I wouldn't leave you there alone and slept on the floor in your room & picking the Alaskan wild flowers to brighten your mood & spirits or the great Halloween party @ Maxine's in Girdwood. the crime spree may be over partner but we are all enjoying the spoils of the crime that was just knowing you. I love you & I know you loved us all...I will see you when I see you but rest well for now until we meet again. xoxoxo Pumpkin!

I met you a year ago at the restaurant your were different from the other servers. You were nice to your cooks and kInd to us. I enjoyed the drinks I had with you at the cooks and the severs hang out spot Darwins, I enjoyed the time outside of that especially Bernies. I will never forget you. You always told me to put my family first no matter what. THANK YOU and I know that you are looking down on everyone you have touched in your life. I want you and my granny to hang out up there keep me and my family on the right path. Gone bit never forgotten my friend.

You were only 17 when your car tires went flat in front of my house. I never knew what an impact that day would have on my life and my kids.who would guess I would meet your mom in that same place. You w ere always there when I needed advice. I love you as a father and can't repay you. The world lost a great human being. Heaven gained another beautiful angel.
