I was thankful that LeeAnn and I saw Mr. "T" this past Christmas. Have so many memories of knowing him almost 40 years. We got to know the Taylor family from our time playing golf with Dean. Had some friendly father/son matches....my dad passed 2 years ago on the same date...so I know they are probably playing some golf in heaven (waiting for Dean and I to complete the foursome).
Another great memory is Mr. T's love of the Dallas Cowboys. We had many "crispy" bets ($1 new bill).
All are in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear about your loss. We are thinking of you with fond memories of Ed when I was a kid growing up.

Many fond memories over the 50+ years that we have known Ed and the family. One particular event,of the many events, that stand out was when Ed was teaching me how to play golf, we were on the golf course the day our President JFK was assassinated. Reminiscent of how Ed was so 'even keeled' was the many activities we shared while employed with Avco Research and Development, testing some very classified Military projects at the White Sands Missile Range. Enjoying weekend trips with our families to the Mountains of Cloudcroft NM. Fishing trips to Ruidoso NM. So many memorable events. Square Dancing at the White Sands National Park. One Last entry, I could go on, two of our Grand Children Erin and Elijah were so impressed with Mr Taylor letting them fish off the dock when were visiting. These memories will remain with us. Our condolences go to Jean, Lisa and Dean.

In reading the messages posted here, it's no surprise that my memories are similar to Cindy's. I too spent time at the Taylor's home, more years ago than I care to remember actually. While time has passed, the memories are as vivid as ever, especially of how Ed and Jean treated me like one of their own. He was special and will be missed by so many. I hope all of you find peace and comfort with each other in this difficult time. Just know that whenever I see an old red Ford pickup, drive by a workshop near the airport, notice a trap float in the river, lose yet another lunker redfish, or look at the Moon I will have a smile on the outside and a warm thought on the inside. May he rest in peace.

As a good friend to Lisa while we were girls growing up, I spent time and had many sleepovers at the Taylor's home. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor were always very welcoming of me and I felt very special while being there. I know how much they all loved living on the river and am so glad that he was able to enjoy it for so much of his life. I know that he will be greatly missed and wish you all peace at this difficult time. I hope that you will find comfort in your happy memories of him and his terrific life.

Ed was a wonderful man - always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. We used to exchange Ed's blue crabs for fish. We will miss you very much.

What wonderful memories I have of visiting the Taylor's in Merritt Island...my mom and dad loved to come visit and sit many lazy mornings on the river, fish off the dock, or go for a ride in one of Ed's many boats. I continued to visit over the years enjoying the fresh caught fish Ed would grill and the rock shrimp dinners culminating in cousin Jean's delicious banana pudding! Wonderful conversations and laughs with Ed not to mention watching those old movies on TCM..Pat and I will miss your smile, laugh and kindness...

Dear Uncle Ed. I have such fond memories of visiting with you all in Florida. As a child we all went to Disney World and what a great time that was. The famous family trip to Destin with Grandmaw and Grandpa , Mary , Charles, Preston, Lois , Prescilla , me and you all.. The wonderful crab you brought for all of us to enjoy will never be forgotten. We all remember how much Grandpa loved crab, and of course all the fun we had together on the beach. You and Jean were so helpful and loving to Steve and I when we lived nearby in Titusville. So many loving memories of you and your family. I know you are playing golf with the greats. Much love and God speed my dearest Uncle Ed.
