Erin Gaston

ERIN GASTON - MELBOURNE - Erin R. Gaston, 28, of Melbourne, passed away, Friday, October 31, 2008. She was born in Cape Canaveral Hospital on September 27, 1980 to Joan and Chris Gaston. Erin was the first-born daughter growing up in an Air Force family. She traveled and lived in Spain, Virginia, and Maryland before coming back to Brevard County in 1997. She graduated from Satellite High School in 1998 and attended Brevard Community College. Erin excelled in swimming in high school and was on the first- place relay team at state finals her senior year. She was and avid football fan and beach lover. She enjoyed biking, surfing, and camping. Most of all, she loved her family and friends. Erin brought fun and joy to all of us with her smile and happy personality. She brightened all of our lives and we will miss her dearly. Erin is survived by her father, Chris Gaston of Satellite Beach; her mother, Joan Shiban of Gainesville, Virginia; her sister, Jamie Vogel of Lincoln, Nebraska; her sister, Kate Gaston of Denver, Colorado; her grandmother, Margaret Smith of Mohrsville, Pennsylvania; seven uncles and aunts; twelve cousins; and her niece. Visitation celebrating Erin will be held Friday, November 7th, from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. at Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach.
