We have known Frank and Barbara for over 50 years. We have worked and dined together many times during that period. We have always considered them as very good friends and Frank will certainly be missed. Our thoughts and sympathy are with Barabara and family.

Sincerely,
Sue and Marion DuRant

My Neighbor, Frank Boyce

I moved across the street from the Boyce’s about 23 years ago. I knew instantly quality of the couple from our first encounter. There have been many life-changing events during this time. However, there was one constant, secure feeling every time I turned into my street. That feeling was the knowledge that Frank and Barbara were there. As a single parent I taught my young children to go across the street to seek Mr. and Mrs. Boyce if trouble arose. Now, as my mother ages I instruct her, to seek help from the Boyce’s if an emergency presents itself. I regret never having many opportunities to spend with him, we never dined together, we never went fishing, we never talked sports or politics and by good fortune the emergencies never arose. I didn’t need such incidents to make me feel closer to him. We mostly talked about family and I never heard a negative tone when he spoke. I always referred to him as Mr. Boyce and probably never called him Frank. I respected him immensely and will miss him the same. We lived close to each other taking care of our families and our homes. We were neighbors, and a better neighbor I could never have. Now he has left and I want the Boyce family to know how much we mourn their loss and that we are now, and have always been, across the street for them.

And to my neighbor of whom I know is listening, “We Love and Miss you Frank!”

Dear Extended Boyce Family-

Though not "official" blood, I very much considered Frank to be a grandfather to me. I was extremely fortunate to have grown-up next door to Barbara and Frank and I am the man I am today thanks in large part to their love for me. Though I've been away from Titusville and Hickory HIlls for over 11 years now, I was fortunate enough to have visited with Frank this past March. Though his physical health was failing, his mind was just as I remembered - - sharp as a tack. Frank took me on his boat and taught me about the Indian River, the St. John's River, and one of our favorite places - Blue Springs. We shelled blue crabs and shrimp at the kitchen table. Those are memories that I will always have and always cherish. I am extremely fortunate to have known Frank and will miss him dearly.

With love and condolences-
