Melbourne Village, FL
John V. Piszczek, 93, of Melbourne Village passed away February 23, 2016. After serving in the military in both WW II and Korea as a radar and telemetry technician, "Jack" moved to Brevard County in 1953 from White Sands, New Mexico. He worked at Cape Canaveral and Patrick Air Force Base in the early days of the space program and was involved in aerospace and communications for over thirty years, working for the RCA Service Company, Geospace, Symmetrics and Harris Corporation, where he finally retired in 1987.
Jack enjoyed sailing, canoeing, camping and cooking in his spare time. He was also frequently involved in local theatrical productions at Indian River Players and was a lover and patron of classical music.
He is survived by his wife Mae of 61 years, his sister Patricia Koronkowski (husband Leonard), his daughters Tanya Albert (husband Stewart), Christine Monroe (husband Malcolm), Ann Nabers (husband Charles), Valerie Piszczek, his son Mark Piszczek, and 17 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Melbourne Village Town Hall at 535 Hammock Rd. Melbourne Village, FL 32904 on March 5, 2016 at 11am. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to The Brevard Symphony Orchestra, of which Jack was a life long supporter.

You were blessed to have had Jack to love all those years. I wish I had been fortunate enough to have known him longer.
I remember him when I was first involved with IRP and him correcting me on Robert's Rules . He was a very smart man.
I am sorry that I won't be able to be there on Saturday but know that he and you are in my prayers.
