LARUE CAMPBELL Obituary

LaRue Campbell - Rockledge - LaRue Campbell, 65, died Saturday, January 23, 2010. She was born August 28, 1944 to Rupert and Bertha Jones in Hope Mills, NC. Rupert was career Navy and the family moved many times during LaRue's early years. She met her "to be" husband in Corpus Christy, TX in 1959 and married him in Sanford, FL, July 06, 1962. They moved to California where they had three boys. Moving was part of their lives. LaRue held many jobs from homemaker to lumber buyer. She ended the move cycle when they returned to FL in 1990, where she worked as an administrative assistant. She stopped work in 1997 and she devoted her remaining years as a mother, grandmother and wife. LaRue is survived by her husband, Tom; three sons, Ron, Tim and Doug; her brother, Ron Jones; sister, Sylvia Roads; six grandchildren, Ron, Ian, Sean, Cassidy, Catlin and Caleb, and many, many friends. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 27th at Beckman- Wlliamson Funeral Home Chapel, Viera, FL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Tom, Tim, and Family -
My mom just called to tell me about LaRue. My heart is saddened for you all. I will forever remember how I enjoyed any time with her, her smile, her calling me her "foster child", her great advice, fun times shopping and decorating, and so much more. She loved her family more than anything and I know she is dancing with Denver and telling God and St. Peter how to fix up the neighborhood up there.

You're in my thoughts and prayers. Miss you all.

Ron,

Tom and Larue's family,
We live in your old home in the Pelican Harbor subdivision of Rockledge. So sorry for your loss. Please know that she was a beautiful person which is evidenced by our beautiful home. I also knew Larue from her days at Harris Corp. I will never forget how happy she was when she found out I was going to be living in the house. She was such a nice lady.
