Mark Hodgson Obituary


Mark L. Hodgson, age 54, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida. He was born on January 8, 1958 in Fairfax, Virginia, the son of Robert and Margaret (Saults) Hodgson.

Mr. Hodgson was a Technical Sales Engineer at Arlon Incorporated in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly (Cartwright) Hodgson; two daughters, Erin (Jacob) Sleight of Newark, New York, Megan (Brent) Brillantine of Fairfax, Virginia; mother, Margaret Hodgson of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters, Laura (Robert) Johannsen of Denver, North Carolina, Susan Sommerfeld and Amy (Tom) Wilcox both of Newport News, Virginia; two brothers, David (Patricia) Hodgson of Olathe, Kansas, Luke (Beth) Hodgson of Atlanta, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Peter Hodgson, and his father, Robert Hodgson.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 12:30 PM, at the Radisson Suite Hotel Ocean Front, 3101 North Highway A1A.

We are saddened and sorry for the loss of your husband and best friend... Mark. You know that life is wonderful, for all the good times and great things, we get to experience with our loved ones and friends, but, life is also sad.. because it will eventually end.. Please know that you are surrounded by family who loves you and will always be there for you going forward, to give you strength, love and happiness in the days ahead.. One day at a time..
