Major Michael Terry USA (Ret), 71, of Palm Bay passed away on Monday October 19, 2015 at his home. 

He was a native of New York City, a Catholic and member of ROTC in High School and College. He graduated from Providence College with a BS in Economics, entered the Army in September of 1965 as a Second Lt at Ft. Knox, KY.  He graduated from Flight School at Ft Wolters, TX and had 2 tours of duty in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot where he was awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and the DFC. Duty stations included Ft. Rucker, Ft Knox, Rochester, NY, Hawaii, Alabama and Georgia.  He retired in 1968 and worked for Georgia Pacific as Accounts Manager for 10 years and retired to Florida to enjoy golf.

Mike was a member of The Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Assn., MOAA, and the American Legion. 

Survivors include his wife Pamela, Son Christopher, five siblings. 

Services will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. 

Donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Hospice of Health First.
