Nancy Bustelo Obituary
Melbourne - October 8, 1945 - January 6, 2021
Nancy Bartlett Bustelo passed away peacefully on January 6, 2021 in Melbourne Florida. She was born in Fremont Michigan, the daughter of Allen E. and Margueritte J. Bartlett. Nancy is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard (Dick) Bustelo, sons Jason and Matthew Bustelo, daughters-in-law Vanessa and Mercedes, siblings Beth Ingalls and James E. Bartlett, 12 nieces and nephews, and countless friends and neighbors. She will be remembered for her loving soul, sweet disposition, and quick wit. Nancy always took the challenge to put a smile on the face of everyone she met.
Nancy grew up in Florida, attended Asbury University in Kentucky, and earned a Masters degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of South Florida. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and published author. While raising a family, Nancy served the community in a number of social service roles, including the Brevard Achievement Center, Guardian ad Litem and Meals on Wheels. She was quick to lend a hand and counsel to those in need, young and old.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 15th, 2:00 PM at Buena Vida Estates, 2129 W. New Haven Ave, West Melbourne, Florida. A memorial service at the Eaton Rapids Campmeeting in Michigan late summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association
