Robert LaStrap Obituary
Robert D. LaStrap, 71, of Merritt Island, Florida, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He was born in Beaumont, Texas.
Robert was retired from Military Sealift Command and was employed part time for Port Canaveral Authority Police Dept. and American Guard Security. He was a member of Eau Gallie Church of Christ.
Robert is survived by his wife, Johnnie LaStrap; sons, Robert, Jr., Anthony, Randy and Daryl LaStrap; daughter, April Berrian; sisters, Betty Peterson and Mildred Keller; and nieces, nephews and Godchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Lorenzo Berrian; brother, Clifford LaStrap, Jr.; and sister, Mary Jacko.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until 11 AM, Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Fiske Blvd. Church of Christ, 805 South Fiske Blvd., Rockledge, with memorial to follow at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations my be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3319 Maguire Boulevard, Orlando 32803.

Bob was the nicest, caring, kindest, gentleman I had the honor of working with at the port he was respected, and remained positive, no matter what the situation, he will be missed greatly. he has earned his wings!!!
