Almond, NC
Sandra Brockett, 65, of Almond, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15, 2016 while surrounded by her loving family. Born May 18, 1951 to Uleain and the late Jesse Day, Sandra was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church and also attended St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church and Good Shepard Lutheran Church. Sandra was an artist who also enjoyed playing poker. But most of all she enjoyed her time as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Sandra will be greatly missed by her beloved husband of 44 years, Clad Barkley; sons George (Annette) Brockett and Cory (Christine) Brockett; grandchildren Veronica (John) Roney and Nicholas Brockett; brother Jesse Lavon (Penny) Day; sisters Jeannie (Randy) Lewis Connie (Dale) Pushard and Susie (James) Hampton; Aunt Buries (Joe) Dean and many extended family members. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 21st at 10AM at North Brevard Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8PM. Memorial contributions may be made in Sandra's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Condolences may be shared at www.north brevardfuneralhome.com
