Theodore Blumenthal Obituary

THEODORE BLUMENTHAL MELBOURNE Theodore Blumenthal, 92, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, at the Alterra Clare Bridge nursing home in West Melbourne. Before moving to Florida, Ted was a resident of Stratford, CT. He was presi dent of Temple Beth Sholom in Stratford. He was also presi dent of the Bnai Brith Stratford Chapter. He was a licensed public accountant in the state of Connecticut and served as past president of the Connect icut Chapter of Federal Accountants. He retired from the Department of Defense as a supervising auditor. He was proud to have served in the Marines in World War II and held the rank of staff sergeant. He was a lifetime member of the Marine Memorial Club in San Francisco, CA. Survivors include his sister, Louise Arzi; stepchildren Richard Huff, Barbara Luntz, Darlene Guzzi, Cheryl Deily and Edward Huff; niece Shari Arzi; nephews David Arzi, Robert Blumenthal and Ronald Marans. The family requests that donations be made to Alz heimers research.
