Timothy "Tim" Parker, 51, of Port St. John, Florida passed from this world into the loving embrace of Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Tim was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey on December 7, 1963.  He was preceded in death by his mother and his two sisters (Tracy) and (Christine).  He is survived by his brother Jack, sister in-law Yvette and loving nephew John (17).  Tim was blessed to have a group of the closest friends a man could have and each one would be quick to tell you that Tim was a true blessing in their life.

Tim was a graduate of Cocoa Beach High School (1981) and attended college in Tallahassee, Florida. Tim had a highly accomplished athletic career beginning as the high school's wrestling team Co-Captain, then becoming Mr. Florida in 1988 and transitioning into a professional wrestling career where he successfully wrestled as the Bounty Hunter, Powerhouse Parker, Mr. Terrific of the Tag Team Champions known as "The Heartbreakers", and finally as Bongo the Cavemen.  After retiring from his wrestling career he began a new career in computer technologies as a partner with N-SYNC in Cape Canaveral.  He stayed in good shape and won the American Arm Wrestling Championships, first with his right arm, the next year with his left.  He also is well known in the Ohio area as "Kia Kong" and children often stood in lines of 100+ to get his autograph when he came to town. He was currently in training to become the world's strongest man over 50 and had just smashed the Florida all-time bench press record and was on his way to breaking the 500 pound mark while on his way to the world title.

As strong as Tim was physically, what Tim's friends and family will remember most about Tim was the size and the strength of his heart and joy in his laugh.  Tim always put the needs of his family and friends far above his own.  Tim also had a very quick wit and made people laugh hard and often. To know Tim was to know true joy and laughter.

It is hard to imagine what this world will look like without Tim Parker.  He was in many ways "bigger than life" and made all of our lives more fulfilled. He wanted his friends to know that he loved God and was a professed Born Again Christian who accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

A celebration of Tim's amazing life will be led by Dr. Larry Linkous this Saturday, March 7 at 11:00 am at New Life Christian Fellowship located at 6755 South Washington Ave (US 1) in Titusville, Florida.  For those that cannot make the event, the New Life Team has been kind enough to video stream the service and you can watch it live by going to:

www.FindNewLife.com. All of Tim's friends are welcome and encouraged to attend the service. All who knew Tim were blessed by God to have him in their lives. While we take comfort he is in Heaven, we will miss him more than words can say.
