I miss you. You were one of the best leaders I've worked with, and I've been lucky enough to know others, but few enough, in your caliber.

I remember him well. What an outstanding Christian man. I grew up in Folcroft Union and, for me, he represented what a dedicated Christian leader should be.

I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Henderson's passing. He was a very nice person. I remember when I worked at the Folcroft Post Office how very nice and pleasant Mr. and Mrs. Henderson were when they would come into the Post Office. Always pleasant and kind. No matter the success and achievements, they were always a pleasure to see and talk to.
Please know that the entire community and many more of us share in your loss. Mrs. Henderson and Family, may you find strength and consolation in God our Savior. God Bless you all.

Betty Lea and Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathies...I remember when Paul and I went to Folcroft Union in the late 60's you welcomed us with the love of Christ. In fact Betty, I never forgot, and often think of how kind you were during my first pregnancy,,,giving me maternity clothes for my pregnancy with Stephen Paul. Your family always reflected the love of Christ and I've never forgotten you all. Over the years you and your husband were very positive influences on Paul and myself. Thank you!! Dee Faison

Mr Henderson was a great man. His son Dave was very proud of him. He helped Sharon Hill stay stable by developing the Henderson track. When I was retiring he personnaly came into the office to wish me good luck. He will surely be missed.

If a person can say they lived a full life. Mr. Wilbur C Henderson was that man. You were bless if you cross his path, associated with him at church, dealt business or worked for him as an employee. I always said he was a "Gentlemen". More so that he was a Gentle Man. But when he needed to roar, he was like a lion. I was able to work under Mr. Henderson for a few years and not only did I learn from this wise man about development, but I was able to see the gentle man he is. Biggest thing I have said in discussions with many people was that Mr. Henderson was a visionary. Our society is missing many visionaries, but Mr. Henderson was one of them. Yes Mr. Henderson, Not Wilbur or WC but Mr. Henderson, out of respect for the man.
My condolences to Mrs. Henderson (Betty Lee), Steven and the two grandchildren, David Jr and Christina. I hope you find sympathy as the days past. Our world lost another great man, but heaven gain an angel.
