Eugene Kidd Obituary

Eugene Kidd, 74, of Hazel Green, and formerly of Dana, husband of the late Joan Lindon, departed this life on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 12 days.

He was a son of the late Allen and Cindy Case Kidd, born in Dana, on March 17, 1940.

Eugene is survived by two sons, Mickie Kidd, of Bowling Green, and Tommy Kidd (Brandy), of Greenville; one grandchild, Emily Kidd; one brother, Willard Kidd of Wayland; and four sisters, Juanita Hall, of Norwalk, Ohio, Minnie Jarrell, of Banner, and Alice Lawson and Lora Akers, both of Dana.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Lindon; his parents, Allen and Cindy Case Kidd; two brothers, William Green Kidd and Cecil Kidd; and four sisters, Magaline Kidd, Nannie Mae Hampton, Shirley Branham and Aline Crum. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services were held Friday, May 2, at Crossroads Baptist Church, in Helechawa. Burial was in the Lindon Cemetery in Morgan County.

Pallbearers were Clayton Akers, Franklin Boyd, Brian Kidd, Donnie Akers, Michael Akers and Paul Jarrell.
