James Richard Hale, 69, of Blue River, passed away Monday, June 19 in Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, W.Va..
Hale was born to the late Richard and Sally Jewel Hughes Hale on Sept. 9, 1948 and was a retired mechanic.
He was survived in death by his wife Hazel Hunt Hale, two children, seven brothers and sisters and four grandchildren.
Two sisters preceded him in death.
Services were held Friday, June 23 at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Martin.
