Alice Keyser Obituary
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thurs. (April 5) at the Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St. Canandaigua. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Fri. (April 6) at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Canandaigua, with Father William Coffas as the Celebrant. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Old Forge at the convenience of the family.
She was a devout Catholic and active in St Francis church, as well as its Altar Rosary Society. She was passionate about life-especially her retirement years in the Adirondacks-enthusiastic, outgoing and caring of others. Her warmth and wit drew people to her wherever she went.
She is survived by her oldest son, Jim of Canandaigua; and her two remaining sisters; one brother; and many nieces and nephews-mostly in Buffalo.
She was predeceased by seven of her ten siblings; her dear son, Daniel; and beloved husband, James-founder and owner of Keyser Cadillac in Buffalo.

Aunt Alice: You always lived your life with such joy - enjoying the people around you...making us feel welcome...and getting us to smile. I hope you are at peace now and I bet there is a HUGE "Welcome!" party in heaven for you...probably NOT the place to dress up like a nun (or an ape) to surprise people...but who knows ?! I will always have a place in my heart for Aunt Alice. I have many memories of staying with her in Batavia as a very young child and have great memories on Conesus Lake where she taught me to swim. She was always fun and up to some shenanigans with friends and family alike. She will be truly missed as she brought so much joy into the world. Love, Dale
