Anita Bianco Obituary
Friends and family may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.on Tuesday, (December 12), at the Haughey Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 119 5th St., Watkins Glen, N.Y. 14891 and again from 10 to 11 am on Wednesday, (December 13), at the Link at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, 905 Decatur St., Watkins Glen, N.Y. 14891. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at the Church at 11 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Watkins Glen, N.Y.
Memorial donations may be made in Anita's name to the Montour Falls Moose Lodge #426, 2096 Co Rd 14, Montour Falls, N.Y. 14865, Schuyler County Child Care Coordinating Council, 207 E 2nd St., Watkins Glen, N.Y. 14891 or Mechanics Club, 237 W. Main St., Montour Falls, N.Y. 14865.
Anita was born on May 13, 1947 in Montour Falls, NY to the late James M. & Mary E. (Tenti) Bianco. She worked as a Secretary for Hobart and William Smith College for over 30 years. Anita enjoyed working with children at MyPlace in Watkins Glen. She was a member of the Montour Falls Moose Lodge #426, the Mechanics Club and St. Mary's of the Lake Church.
Anita is survived by her sons, William (Stacey) Legg, Sean (Tammy) Legg; daughter, Cassandra (RJ) Wilson; grandchildren, Bretlyn & Mackenzie Legg, Kaileigh, Rebecca, & Sarah Legg; step-grandchildren, Ronnie Wilson IV & Braidyne Wilson; sister, Diane Bianco Johnson.

Wow, I was so very shocked. My sincere sympathy go out to Bill, Sean and Cassandra. I loved to see Anita's smile and often think about her being a bookie for the Super Bowl squares as she encouraged me to live a little! She will always be in my heart.

I remember Anita. We were on the same bowling team back in the day (around 1974-5). We all had small children. What a fun time. Alas, we all went our separate ways but I always remembered Anita. She was a fun, sweet soul. May the God of all comfort, comfort you in this time as you juggle the grief of personal loss and the fun memories of days gone by. I have thought of her over the years.
