Betty was born February 10, 1936, in Seneca Falls, N.Y., the daughter of Clarence M. and Eva M. Doty Dilts. She was a graduate of Romulus Central School District. After graduation, Betty was employed in food services at the Seneca Army Depot in Romulus, N.Y. She met the love of her life, Richard L. Parker, Sr. and were married February 6, 1954. She worked at Guaranteed Parts until her retirement. Betty wanted to do more, so she worked at Mynderse Academy as a study-hall monitor, where she enjoyed the students very much, until her retirement June 30, 2003.

Betty enjoyed family picnics and being invited to any get togethers whether be friends, relatives or family. She loved to visit with people and talk about anything and anyone. She dedicated her life to her family and enjoyed her grandchildren greatly, and especially watching her great-grandchildren growing up. Betty was a longtime member of Order of the Eastern Star in Fayette, N.Y. She was also a member of the Canoga Fire Department Auxiliary.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Theresa) L. Parker, Jr. and Ronald (Barbara) Parker both of Seneca Falls, N.Y.; daughter, Deborah A. Bojczuk of Romulus, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Richard L. Parker, Sr. who passed away November 28, 2019; brothers, Harold and Richard Dilts; son-in-law, Rocco Bojczuk, Jr.; and sisters-in-law, Carol Parker and Doris Munson.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Rochester Regional Health Hospice Care.
