Beverly Ann Vanhoover

NEWARK - Mrs. Beverly Ann Vanhoover, born on June 6, 1928, in Lyons, N.Y., passed away on August 22, 2025. Beverly lived a long and full life of 97 years.

Beverly was the beloved mother of four children: Ronald (Helen) Ceravolo of Newark, Patricia Adams of Newark, Vincent (Sylvia) Ceravolo of Connecticut, Timothy (Amanda) Ceravolo of Indiana. She is also remembered with affection by her sister Margaret Percy of Florida and her brother Timothy (Linda) Carr of Canandaigua.

Her family tree extends through generations with 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Beverly also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews as well as several sisters and brothers in-law.

She is predeceased by her husband Donald VanHoover and her previous husband Vincent Ceravolo. Beverly was also preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Jean Carr, along with 10 siblings and their spouses.

Beverly had a spirited personality. She was a devoted football fan, cheering for both Notre Dame and the Buffalo Bills. She also enjoyed a friendly game of Pitch and a good Bingo game.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Newark Manor for the compassionate care they provided to Beverly over the past few years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or The Wilmot Cancer Center of Rochester in Beverly's memory.

Calling hours will be held at Schulz-Pusateri Funeral Home in Newark on Saturday, September 6, from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., with service following at 6:30 p.m.
