Catherine Mohr Obituary
Family will greet friends on Thursday (May 21) from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W Miller St., Newark. Funeral Service and burial in Newark Cemetery will be private.

Catherine was born the daughter of the late Benjamin and Frieda (Heitmann) DeWall on Saturday, April 22, 1933, in Trumansburg, N.Y. She graduated from Waterloo High School, class of 1952. For many years she worked for ITT Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls and then worked with her husband, owner with his brother, at Wayne Floral in Newark. She attended Redeemer Lutheran Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, and member of the Ladies Club. Catherine, as a teenager, was crowned Rose Queen of Waterloo and Firemen's Queen of Seneca - Wayne Ontario. Over the years, Catherine worked on her memoirs and had just completed her work. Among other thing she enjoyed reading and family.
Catherine will be remembered by her loving husband of 61 years, Heinz Mohr; children, Cindy (Peter) Miller, Debi (Bill) Jones, Kay (Joe) Muscarella and Peter (Rob Ulliman) Mohr; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; brother Gayland (Donna) DeWall; several nieces and nephews.
Catherine was predeceased by her daughter Christine in 1958, and son Heinz Mohr, Jr. in 1978.
