Charles Simpson Obituary
Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday (May 7) at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd, Rochester, NY 14609, with a service to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charlie's name to Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Charlie was born in Geneva, N.Y. on November 3, 1957, to Charles and Lucille (Pitifer) Simpson. He went to SUNY Geneseo, with a bachelors in education. He was a loyal employee of Wegmans for over 25 years. On January 19, 2019, Charlie married the love of his life, Stephanie. Together they loved traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with family. His passion in life was his family.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his mother, Lucille Pitifer-Simpson; his daughters, Brianna (Anthony ) DeLorenzo and Jenna (Connor Hamilton) Simpson; his stepdaughters, Madeline Fournier, Grace Fournier and Bobbi (Greg) Zimmerman; his stepgrandchildren, Steven, and Elliot; and a host of family and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles Simpson Jr.
