Dale Birchard Obituary

IRONDEQUOIT/LYONS - Dale Schnabel Birchard, age 78, passed away on June 11, 2025 at the Hospeace House in Naples, N.Y. after an ongoing battle with cancer.

In keeping with Dale's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hospeace House, P.O. Box 343, Naples N.Y. 14512..

Dale was born on March 4, 1947 in Lyons, N.Y., the daughter of the late Arthur and Bessie Schnabel. Dale, along with her dear friend Audrey Voelkl started a household sale business named "The Silver Lining". Over the years, she volunteered at The Mary Cariola Center and was also a Girl Scout Leader. Dale took great pride in being a homemaker and cherished being a mother and grandmother.

Dale is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bud Birchard of Farmington; daughters Heather (Jim) Lehneman of San Antonio, TX, Erinne (Greg) Woodard of Pittsford.

Greatest joys of Dale and Bud's lives, grandchildren Nathan and Linsey Battistoni and Christopher, Ryan and Brayden Woodard; sister Kathleen Bowers; nephews David, Tim, Mark, Alan; many special cousins.

Dale was predeceased by her parents and brother John Schnabel.

The family gives many thanks to the wonderful volunteers and staff at the Hospeace House, for providing comfort and love to Dale and her family.
