Because of Mr. Dibb, a senior English teacher, many of us, now graduates from BUHS, were able to do just that, graduate. We will never forget the wisdome he was willing to share with us and that fun English teacher who made us learn out of every story he told, every book or poem he read, and every word he tought.
Mr.Dibb will always, sincerely be in our hearts and prayers.

I am still stunned
He made me never forget to push myself and others as well. I know that I am not the only one hurt over this sadness (I would say tragedy but Mr Dibb would argue that this situation isn't in english terms a "Tragedy"). I can't help but wish I had one more debate with him to pick his brain. . . one of the only teachers who will never leave my mind.

David was one of the brightest students I taught in a thirty-six-year career of teaching. We kept in touch over the years, and it always pleased me to learn that he was using his superior intelligence and abilities to help others. I think he found his niche in teaching English at Brawley High School. A lot of people will miss him, but the loss is greatest to those students who will never get to have him as their teacher. Our deep sympathies to Mrs. Dibb, his brother, and his sister.

Dibb was an awesome teacher. He was always willing to stay longer than he should at school just to help students, and i was one of those he helped. Our conversations were always interesting because he knew so much about the world. He was the teacher that impacted my life the most in a good way. He was not just a teacher but a friend. He is going to be greatly greatly missed.

Mr. Dibb was an amazing man that I was proud to call "Teacher". He inspired me to accomplish a lot of things, especially to becoming a teacher. I can only hope that someday I will be even half the educator that he was.
