Debra Mearls Obituary

Debra was born the daughter of Louis and Norma (Ricci) Ferretti on April 1, 1955, in Somerville, Mass. Debra was a graduate of Somerville High School and later moved to Townsend, Mass., where she raised her family. Debra moved to New York in 2000.
Debra loved animals and took care of many different pets over her lifetime. She also enjoyed all types of crafts and cooking copious amounts of cookies, especially for the holidays. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially at Sodus Point when they visited her in New York.
Debra will be remembered by her companion in life, Wayne Neisner; son, Christopher and his wife Rebecca Mearls; daughter, Sarah and her husband Michael Jean and her son Jason and his wife Elizabeth Mearls; grandchildren Dominic Mearls, Jonathan Jean and his girlfriend Ashley, Samantha Jean, Lydia Mearls, Nathaniel Mearls and Felicity Mearls; soon to be great-grandchild, Asher Jean; father, Louis Ferretti; siblings, Linda and her husband Robert Willworth, Michael Ferretti and Brenda Pedell; as well as by several nieces and nephews.
Debra was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Richard Pedell; and father of her children, James Mearls.
