Della Rose Mancuso

GENEVA– Della Rose Mancuso, age 73, passed away December 2, 2023.

Born in Cuba, N.Y., she was the daughter of Delfio and Eleanor Mancuso. Della attended Friendship Central School and graduated in the class of 1968. She was a graduate of SUNY Oswego, class of 1972. Della relocated to New York City and quickly moved up in the publishing world where she became VP of Production at Random House Trade Division. She later moved to North Salem, N.Y. and launched her own company, Mancuso Associates. Over the years Della produced numerous books and publications. She was an experienced equestrian, winning ribbons in dressage, jumping and cross country. After moving to Geneva, she became an active member of the HWS Chorus and always enjoyed performing with her many dear friends.

Della was predeceased by her husband, Walter Ruben.

She is survived by her loving siblings, Francine (Richard) Cuykendall, John (Kari) Mancuso, Michele (Martin) Lumet and Christine (John) Krueger; nephews, Scott (Jennifer) Cuykendall, Andrew (Bari) Cuykendall, Max (Julie) Krueger, Daniel Krueger, Derek Mancuso; niece, Carmen Mancuso; several great nephews; a great niece; and her much loved pony, Peaches.

Fiercely independent, Della loved all kinds of music, art, animals, great food and wine. She formed many close, long-lasting friendships and was always around to share a laugh or a song. Our sister was loving, loyal, generous, funny and the family always spent many hours reminiscing and laughing together.
