Phylis M. Mancuso

Phylis M. Mancuso (nee Petry), 82, passed away suddenly on Friday evening, January 16, 2026.

Born in Darby, PA, as a young child she relocated to Fairview, NJ with her parents.

There, she attended Yorkship School and graduated from Camden High School, class of 1961.

Phylis married her love, Joseph, in 1967. Together they resided in Oaklyn, Fairview, and Barrington, NJ; Arcadia, FL; and eventually Gouldsboro, PA.

A homemaker for many years, she began working part-time when her children were older, retiring from Equipment Marketers in 2007.

Phylis was steadfast in her Christian faith. Over her lifetime, she worshipped in St. Paul's Episcopal Church (Camden, NJ), Christ Episcopal Church (Collingswood, NJ), St. Edmund the Martyr Episcopal Church (Arcadia, FL), and Church of St. John the Evangelist (Chews Landing, NJ).

Phylis was involved in several activities and groups through the years including Girl Scouts, band, drum and bugle corps, PTA, church vestry and ECW, Haddon Heights Band auxiliary, Barrington Fire Company ladies auxiliary, and Daughters of the King. In her free time she loved ceramics and crafts, gardening, and bird watching.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Walter and Elizabeth Petry.

Phylis is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Joseph; her children, daughter Christa Martinez of Erial, NJ and son Joseph Mancuso (Nicole) of Bellmawr, NJ; and her four "sweethearts", grandsons David, Danny, Jack and Myles.

Visitation on Friday, February 13th, 9:30 - 11:00AM followed by Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM.
