Joyce Elaine Fields- Zaffuto, known affectionately as Joycee, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, in Glendale, Arizona. Born on August 4, 1958, in Camden, New Jersey, Joyce's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with love, laughter, and a spirited zest for life that touched everyone she knew.

Joyce was the beloved middle child of James Fields Sr. and Annie Doris Fields. She grew up surrounded by the warmth and camaraderie of her large family, including her six sisters, two brothers, and a multitude of relatives who shared countless joyous gatherings. Her infectious laughter and sense of humor were the heartbeat of family functions, leaving a legacy of cherished memories.

A proud graduate of Camden High School in 1977, Joyce carried the lessons of her youth throughout her life. She found her love in Angelo Zaffuto, spending 20 years together and married him in a beautiful ceremony on August 3, 2024, surrounded by loved ones who rejoiced in their happiness.

Joyce was a mother to her three beautiful children, Garry, Lakeysha, and Kayla. She instilled in them her values of love and the joy of living each day to the fullest. Her seven grandchildren, DeShawn, Donovan, Layla, Bella, Aaliyah, Anayah, and Kameron, and her first great-grandchild, Moraya, were the lights of her life.

An avid football fan, Joyce's enthusiasm for the game was infectious. She reveled in the triumphs of her favorite teams, the Arizona Cardinals and the Philadelphia Eagles, and her spirit and energy made game days unforgettable experiences for friends and family alike. Joyce's love for life was evident in her fondness for spending time lounging in the pool, where she found tranquility and joy.

A master of the grill and an excellent cook, Joyce's kitchen was the heart of her home, where the aroma of her delicious meals brought everyone together. Her meals were a gift she shared generously, creating a sense of community and fellowship around her table.

Joyce's beloved dog, Smokey, was a constant companion and a source of unconditional love and comfort.

Those who knew Joyce would describe her as funny and spirited. Her laughter was contagious, her smile could light up a room, and her presence was a source of strength to her many friends.
