Demetre Bove Obituary
Demetre attended school in Seneca Falls, New York and graduated from Mount Holyoke College. She passionately fished, cooked and entertained, gardened, created fabric art, painted, spun, wove, and knitted.
Her beauty, fishing exploits, artistic talent, physical strength, powerful personality, and sense of humor were renowned. She was loved by all.
Demetre was survived by her best friend and adventure buddy, Sam Decker; her brother, Kevin E. Bove MD (Nancy); her sister, Karen Bove; her brother, Emil J. Bove, Jr. (Lorrilyn); and her step daughters, Samantha Berg, Gillian Wilk, and Meredith Crouch.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Martin Stoll and Bob Berg; her father, Emil J. Bove MD; and her mother, Jessie C. Bove.
A memorial will be scheduled for a later date. Contributions in memory of Demetre may be made to the Friends of the Upper Delaware, 158 E. Front Street, Hancock, N.Y. 13783, or emailed to [email protected].
Demetre's family thanks Sam and Wayne Decker, Tammie Dow, Jen Savino, all of her beloved friends in Cuddebackville, and the many caregivers who gave their love and support.

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not have the privilege of knowing Demetre, but clearly we would have had some fun common ground. It sounds like she lived life fully. Rest in peace.
