Dennis Hayes Obituary
Dennis was born in Seneca Falls on April 4, 1952. A born naturalist, Dennis created a lasting legacy by passing on his love of nature to his children, grandchildren and many who knew him. Inspiring us to foster a deep connection with nature and the importance of protecting our environment. He will be sorely missed.
Dennis is survived by a son, Daniel (Heather) Hayes of Watertown, Conn.; and a daughter, Kimberly (Taylor) Partee of Seneca Falls; granddaughters, Aubrea (Jonathan) Newell of Sidney Center, N.Y., Sara Partee of Seneca Falls, Grace Hayes of Seymour, Conn. and Ava Hayes of Watertown, Conn.; and great granddaughter, Scarlett 'Half Pint' Newell of Sidney Center, N.Y.; and a brother, David Hayes of Romulus. He was preceded in death by his mother, D.Joanne (nee Ike) Hayes; father, Charles H. Hayes; brother, Michael 'Mikey' Hayes and sisters, Susan and Julie; and his loving wife, Gwendolyn A. (nee Dhondt) Hayes. In the true Dennis and Gwen fashion, they left this earthly world on the same date, two years apart, writing their own end to a love story that knew no bounds.

Dennis was one of many best friends from childhood through out high school. I remember hanging out with him in McDuffie town or exploring the gully´s and woods going down to Cayuga lake. In High school there were many memories. His Mom was my Mom´s best friend. His sister Julie was a dear friend also. My Sympathies go out to his family Dennis RIP
