Elizabeth Lapp Obituary

SENECA FALLS - Elizabeth A Lapp, "Betty Ann" to all those who knew and loved her, passed away peacefully, August 24, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Richard H. Lapp Sr., whom she wed July 1, 1961; her sons, Richard H. Lapp Jr., and Bob (Amy) Lapp. She was loved and adored by her six grandchildren, Aric, Thomas, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Richard III, and Robert Lapp, whom she loved and spoiled as only a grandma can. She is also survived by her brother, Gary (Debbie) Gladis.

She was predeceased by her brother, William (Betty) Gladis.

She was a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls who worked as a Head Account Clerk for NY state for 36 years. She enjoyed gathering with family and friends where there was always an abundance of good food, great conversation, much laughter and memories made.

There will be no prior calling hours. A graveside service will take place at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the local VFW Auxiliary Post 6433, Waterloo, N.Y.

Arrangements are in the care of Sanderson-Moore Funeral Home Inc., 32 State St., Seneca Falls.

So sorry to hear of Betty´s passing. She was a wonderful person and had a beautiful soul. Heaven certainly gained an Angel. Lots of fun and laughs working with her at WPC and carpooling. Never a dull moment when she was around.

Dick, Richard, Bob, and grandchildren. We are so very saddened by the passing of Betty. She was a classy lady and always had a smile for you. It was a pleasure to be in her company and we were very fortunate to have her as a friend. She was a great friend of the Rogers family and she will never be forgotten by us either.
