Erick Martin Obituary

Erick was born in Crestview, Fla. on November 14, 1970 to the late Betty Jean Martin and Tom Hammonds of Crestview, Fla. Erick, was known as "E", Michael Boy, and Whoa-day to his family and friends. Erick enjoyed dancing, music, hanging with family and friends, playing cards, his love for sports to include fishing, pool, basketball and football. Erick loved the Dallas Cowboys.
Erick was and will be forever known as a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend, for his infectious smile, comedic and story telling ability, his free spirit, selflessness, genuine love for others, generosity and honesty. He was a "tell it like it is" individual. Erick was a truly remarkable individual, and his memory will live forever in those who knew him.
Erick is deeply grieved by his long-time girlfriend of 14 years, Adrienne Smith; his children (in order by age), Erick (Bud) Tyrell Martin Jr., Erickelle (Pumpkin) Martin, Mykael Ufholzand Remi Jean Martin; his step children, Kendralee (Leelee) Bell and Kade Bell; his father, Tom Hammonds; his siblings, (in order by age) Shiela Crawford of Montgomery, Ala., Schlane Martin of Pensacola, Fla., George (Laurie) Bennett of Maryland, Terry (Terri) Martin of Newark, N.Y. and Malessa (Ronald) Johnson of Geneva, N.Y.; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

My beloved brother..you mean the world to Jenna piece of my heart went with you march the 15th..you will always be with me and you know I will keep your spirit alive. I went to high school in Lyons with Erick and didn't see him again for probably almost 25 years until he started working at IEC in Victor. We recognized each other and talked about old times. He was a genuinely good guy. Very sad to see this. My sympathies to the family.
