Eugene Palmer Obituary
Gene was born in Lyons, N.Y. On October 24, 1936. Gene was the son of the late George and Helena Rahn. Gene attended Lyons High School, enlisted in the Marines to obtain his GED.
Gene married Marie DeSain and raised a family of five children after the passing of their spouses Robert DeSain and Shirley (Zaso) Palmer. Gene and Marie have been married for 46 yrs. Gene was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Gene retired from the Conrail as a breakman and in his retirement joined the Wayne County Sheriff Office.
Gene is survived by his wife Marie; his children Michelle (Rob) Wadhams, Jackie (Charlie) Taylor, Kristin (Michael) Victorious and Michael (Bobbi Jo) DeSain; Several grandchildren and great grandchildren, special nieces and nephew. Special friend David Chrysler.
Gene was predeceased by his son Eugene.
Calling hours Friday, November 15 at Boeheim & Pusatari Funeral Home from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral on Saturday, November 16 at St. Michael's in Lyons at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to WCSO (in the memo, add Shop w/a Cop), 7376 Route 31, Lyons, N.Y. 14489.
