Florence Venuti Obituary

GENEVA/HORSEHEADS - Florence Marie Venuti, 100, passed away peacefully Tuesday June 10, 2025 with her family at her side. In honoring Florence's wishes there will be a private prayer service and entombment.

Florence was born on August 30, 1924 in Geneva and was a daughter of the late Florence (Feisel) and Monroe Greene. She was a long-time member of St. Stephen's Church. Florence was a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker. She always enjoyed doing word puzzles. Florence loved going for rides and always saved room for her favorite strawberry milkshake.

She is survived by her son's Joseph (Robin) Venuti, Dominic (Caroline) Venuti and Max (Trudy) Venuti; daughters Christine (David) Benko, Linda (Charles) Gardner and Mary (Giovanni) Lopez; 14 grandchildren Sarah and Margaret Benko, Charles Gardner, III, Tony, Gabriel and Ben Lopez, Joseph and Rachel Venuti, Dominic III (Dutchie) and Michael Venuti, Nick, Alex, Christian and Dominic Venuti.

Florence is predeceased by her husband Dominic Venuti and granddaughter Danielle Venuti.
