Services will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in East Newark cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society.
Gary was born in Newark, August 25, 1952 son of Frank and Shirley Collier DeSain. He had lived in the area for many years.
Survived by his brother Frank (Chris) DeSain, of Lyons; sister Betty Ann ( Gary) Heintzman; nephews, Dean and Michael DeSain .
Predeceased by his parents Frank and Shirley; and his stepbrother Robert DeSain.

I was saddened to learn of Gary's passing. I met him at The Commons where a relative is also a resident. I was able to help him a few times with little things that he needed. I had hoped to sit with him sometime and learn more about him. I am sorry I will not have that chance. I am sorry for your loss.
