George Sparr Obituary
A memorial service will be held on Thursday (January 12) at 2 p.m. at Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls.
Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of choice.
Punk was born in Seneca Falls, N.Y., the son of the late George and Leona (Struble) Sparr. He worked for Elderlee in Oaks Corners for many years and was also a former member of the Teamsters Union Local 506 out of Auburn. He loved everything music; whether it was listening to, watching or playing, Punk was all about it. He especially loved to play the drums, and his favorite band was the Beatles. Punk lived most of his life in Seneca Falls but relocated to Geneva in 1993 to be with the love of his life and soulmate, his wife, the former Ramona Greco.
Punk is survived by his wife, Ramona; daughter, Lisa (Ryan) Taylor of Geneva; stepson, Dayna (Janet) Domke of Waterloo; grandson, Adam Taylor; as well as extended family and close friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Bonnie Messina.
