Gloria Bruzee Obituary
There will be no prior calling hours. Friends may attend a graveside service on Saturday, Aug. 2, 10 a.m. at Riverview Cemetery in Clifton Springs. Rev. Adrian Tierson will officiate.
It is requested that memorial contributions be made to Phelps Fire Department.
Mrs. Bruzee was born on April 9, 1929, in Clifton Springs, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Lula Wheeler Wilbur. She retired from driving bus for Ontario ARC. She was a member of the Phelps American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Bruzee loved to play Bingo and really loved Flamingos. Most of all she loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Lynn Brennan of Geneva, David (Kathleen) Bruzee of Phelps, Steven (Peggy) Bruzee of Phelps, Randy Bruzee of Newark, Amy Fortin of Buffalo; grandchildren Alissa Brennan, Sara Bruzee, Christopher (Rachel) Bruzee, Jeanne (John) Shipley, Laurie Jones, Natalie (Joel) Smith, Danielle (Allen) Sargent, Julie (Justin) Roloson, Leonard (Natalie) Thomas II, Shatoya Thomas, Ciara Fortin and Noah Fortin; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jordan "Joe" Bruzee, and son-in-law William Brennan.
Funeral arrangements have been made with the Cheney Funeral Home, 70 Main Street, Phelps.
