Helen Blum Obituary
Helen was born in Jamestown, N.Y. December 20, 1936, daughter of Edwin and Mary McGavisk Lauffer. She was an office manager for over 20 years for Dr. Santelli and Dr. Mitchell's dental office. She loved to play golf, cook, bake, knit and gardening. She had lived in Fairport for the past 2 years.
Survived by son, Patrick (Terri) of Niskayuna, N.Y.; daughter Kimberly Blum of Fairport; two grandchildren, Samantha and Zachary; sister Pat Van Winkle; two brothers Jack and Robert Lauffer; brothers and sister-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by husband Paul (July 2011).

Played golf with your mom and enjoyed her very much. The golf club was bigger than her but she could really hit that ball. We are in Florida when we received this terrible news. Our thoughts are with her family that she always talked about. We will miss her.
