Jean Gee Obituary

SENECA FALLS - Jean A. Gee, 75, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on Monday (Nov. 2, 2009) surrounded by her family.
Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 7) at the Palmisano Funeral Home Inc., 28 Genesee St., Geneva. A memorial will immediately follow visitation at 8 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Contributions in Jean's memory may be directed to the Tribute Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-1942.
Born Sept. 14, 1934, in Ingleside, Steuben County, Jean was a daughter of the late Delbert and Katherine (Schutz) Brink. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Jean was a volunteer at the House of Concern in Seneca Falls. She enjoyed reading and gardening and was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her daughter, Trudy (Max) Venuti of Harrisburg, N.C.; grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexander, Christian and Dominic; brother, David Brink of Rochester; sisters, Midge (Gilbert) Smith of Waterloo and Eva (Henry) Ward of Geneva; and several nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her previous husband, Will Day; son, George A. Day; husband, Truman Gee; granddaughter, Danielle Venuti; brother, Delmar Brink; and sisters, Loretta and Beulah.

Trudy and Family,

Our deepest sympathies on the passing of Aunt Jean. We have fond memories of her laugh, smile and caring ways. I'll always remember growing up as a kid, the times spent at your house on Garden St. Back then Jean was like a second mom to us Boys. She was very proud of you and her grandchildren. Love you Cuz,

Trudy,
I had the honor of working with your Mom at the Kar-Mac Manor in the mid 70's. I also has the honor of meeting you at your home on garden st. I will miss your mom very much, but I will always have fond memories of her. She was a wonderful person to know and work with. If I can do anything for you and your family, please let me know.
