Auto Mechanic
LAKELAND - John T. Burgess, 81, born Aug. 8, 1929, died Jan. 23, 2011 in his home of heart failure.
He grew up in Beverly MA and moved to Lakeland, FL in 1970 where he continued to operate his own Auto Service Shop until his retirement. Mr Burgess served in the US Army as a Medic during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Jo-Ann Burgess, 3 daughters, Geri Ratley, Barbara-Jean Kumagai & Doreen McQuillen, and 4 grandchildren.
